Why is MColXi More Effective
Than Chlorine in Poultry Chill Water?

  • MCOlXI is 4-7 times more effective than an equal concentrate of chlorine as a micro agent.

  • MCOlXI controls E. coli, coliforms, Salmonella typhimurium and Campylobacter jejuni.

  • MCOlXI reduces BOD/COD thus reducing loading on waste treatment plants.

  • MCOlXI is less corrosive to equipment since it does not react with water to form hydrochloric acid as does

Why should I use MCOlXI rather than Chlorine for water treatment ?

  • MCOlXI functions via an oxidative rather than chlorinating reaction.

  • The formation of chlorinated organic compounds in chlorine suspected to increase cancer risk.

  • MCOlXI is generated on-site, thereby eliminating the need for site storage of chlorine and/or transportation.
